エド・ミリバンド（Ed Miliband、1969年生まれ）は、内閣官房長官（Cabinet office minister）＆ Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster に任命された。これからはミリバンド・ブラザーズの時代だね。
ただ、エド（が主役）の動画が YouTube にはまだなくて、以前も紹介した Embedding できないものしかない。

ただ一点。nofrills さんも「この人は人権問題やゲイ・ライツ、教育と関係のないところですね、やはり」とコメントしているように、ルース・ケリー／Ruth Kellyが交通大臣（Secretary of State for Transport）になった。彼女はカトリックで、 そして Wikipedia en を見ると、

など「Gay equality issues」という項目があるほど、ゲイの公民権に対しては否定的な立場の人で批判を浴びている。BBCの記事を見ると、「あらゆる差別に立ち向かう」と言明はしているようだ。ケリー氏はブレア政権で「女性及び平等のための」閣外相（Minister for Women and Equality）を務めていた。

Roman Catholic and a devout member of Corpus Dei, Kelly lost her position of Minister of Women and Equality a position that she was criticised for, considering her strong religious ties and implicit anti-gay stance. She refused to answer questions about whether she personally thought homosexuality was sinful.
In January the Independent on Sunday reported that Kelly delayed the Sexual Orientation Regulations in a bid to exempt Catholic adoption agencies from gay and lesbian couples as prospective parents.
ブラウン内閣の目玉は、内務大臣（Secretary of State for the Home Department）に任命されたジャッキー・スミス／Jacqui Smith だろう。英国史上初の女性内務大臣の誕生だ。
