二人兄弟で、実はアンドリューのお兄さんもゲイ。そしてアンドリューがママにカミングアウトしたのが（兄貴はすでにカミングアウト済み）、みんなでテレビ番組『Will & Grace』を見ているとき。18歳だった。
Where do you hail from, originally?
I was born in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. I’m a Midwest boy. My brother is actually gay, as well.
There are two of you?
Yup. My mom wanted to have grandchildren, but maybe in time! It’s kind of a disappointing thing for her! [Laughs]
How did she take finding out both of her sons were gay?
She’s awesome. My brother came out of the closet when he was 19-years-old. I told him [about me] when I was around 18-years-old. It was kind of a crazy moment. We were all watching Will & Grace on Thanksgiving because my brother’s addicted to the show. They mentioned “fag hag” on the show and my mom goes, “What’s a fag hag?” My brother named, like, five of his friends. But then he named one of mine. My mom was like, “Uh, what?” Everybody left the room and I was just sitting there like, I guess I have to tell her. I’m glad that my brother paved the way because they were really cool with it. My parents are just the best.
