フランス最大の映画賞セザール賞の授賞式が２５日、パリで開催され、『天使が隣で眠る夜』*1などで知られるジャック・オディアール監督作品『真夜中のピアニスト』（”De Battre Mon Coeur S'est Arrete”、英題”The Beat That My Heart Skipped”）が、８部門の栄冠に輝いた。

仏セザール賞で「真夜中のピアニスト」が8部門受賞 [Yahoo! News]
同作品は、コンサート・ピアニスト志望の若者をめぐるサスペンスで、米国のジェームズ・トバック監督が１９７８年に制作した「マッド・フィンガーズ」のリメイク版。セザール賞全１９部門のうち、最優秀作品賞、最優秀監督賞、有望若手女優賞を含む８部門で受賞した。

The film tells the tale of Tom, played by Romain Duris, who hesitates between carrying on the life of crime he inherited from his his father, and following in his mother's footsteps to become a concert pianist. The drama is up for ten nominations, including best French film, best director for Jacques Audiard, best actor for Romain Duris, best adapted screenplay, best cinematography and best music.
